Women Like Cookies

You tasted of their sweetness took a bite of each one
Chocolate, vanilla, small, hard n crunchy, gooey with caramel and then some
Climbed into the box with two, so committed to them were you
Then ate a few more their taste was waste
and that's where you lost "you".

Not in a wrapper, out of the box
sitting right there on a plate
was the one with the textures and flavors you'd longed for
over all the others debates.
Intelligence of the heart and gentleness of mind
I reached out for your hand as you reached for mine.

At the end of your search was she,
not knowing what she contained.
But your intuition it did find her, not knowing or looking for it,
you succumbed to all of her flavor,
precious is she.
